Hunting for shrooms in anchorage alaska.

I was thinking about going shroom hunting and I have discovered some Amanita Muscaria near my house, but I want real shrooms. Can anyone list the type of shrooms that grow in alaska so I know what too lookup and research. Pictures would be helpful too. I was reading something on the forums about a guy finding a lot of shrooms outside in seattle, so I thought those same shrooms might grow in alaska. :tongue:

amanitas are the only psychocatives i know of in ak. i lived in Juneau for years.

I have a friend that has found liberty caps as well, there are alot of forest in alaska, so let the hunt begin, and no libs grow in cow fields not forest.

actualy the semies grow in association with the grasses and not exclusively in livestock fields. sure everyone knows this but i thought i'd mention it so anyone who doesn't know will.
