Wow, depression? Quite the opposite. Thank god I live in Canada and not in such a state of total denial, repression and brainwashing. Very interesting documentary, really opened my eyes.

i finished the movie, it was amazing. my view of the world has been widened, i would like to see a more up-to-date documentary on N Korea.

I saw another documentary about N Korea, and it said something interesting about the border, and the guard formations...

In South Korea, they stand facing the North Korean border, to make sure North Korea doesn't invade. Note they don't have to worry about people from south korea defecting to the north. In North Korea, however, there are two guards facing each other and one facing the north. The two guards face each other to make sure the other doesn't defect, and the one facing north is to make sure nobody else does.

Also, if you defect, they put all of your family members into labor camps.

The border is just a line. There's Americans on the South Korean side to.

They don't wear rain uniforms on the South/American soldiers cause it shows a sign of weakness.

TRULY AMAZING AND EYE OPENING.  It wasn't depressing at all,  It made me appreciate the small things I take for granted on a day to day basis and put "MY LIFE"  in perspective.  Thank you soooooooo much for this Pyroburns.  5 for you!

Good documentary, I was reading up on some North Korean history earlier today,

anyone ever hear about that time when a group of american soldiers went to cut a tree down in the DMZ that was obstructing their view armed only with axes when they were karate chopped by a north korean officer who picked up the axe and threw it and killed the running american solider while one other soldier was beaten to death... crazy shit :eek:

In one of those links I posted ,it shows some of the big ceremonies they put on inside of the stadiums with the bright colors everywhere.
They look like normal happy performers ,untill you watch the rest of the video and it exsplains who and what they are...:nonono:
