Milk works for mushrooms for sure, I don't know about lsd though....



Well i could see milk, or any dairy product for that matter, coating the lining of the stomach and making the stomach less acidic. So if you drank milk before ingesting your substance of choice this would slow down the process of the actives getting broken down and into your system, but not completely block them from getting into your system. And i highly doubt that drinking milk mid trip is going to do anything....


This is off topic,  but milk has a pH of 6 (slightly acidic) Also when milk is exposed to acid (stomach acid for example pH 1)  the proteins denature and you get a semi sold chunk of protein and fat, and a whey (carbohydrates and water mostly).  The semi solid protein and fat is sometimes called curd.

I mention this because people often think milk coats the stomach.  If you want to see what happens to milk as soon as it hits your stomache warm some up and dump some vinegar in there.  nasty huh?

Why do i know this?  Well one of my organic chem labs this term was to purify samples of lactose, casein and butterfat from some partly skimmed milk.

I dunno if it'd kill a trip but i doubt it'd coat anything

I can tell you guys right now that niacin does not abort a trip. I use it in attempt to counteract the vasoconstriction of various chemicals sometimes.
