Drug use supports terrorism!

I'm going to have to agree with that statement. So since Sept 11 I've seen alot of this "If you do drugs, you're supporting terrorism" bull shit. But it never really left any impact on my "i give a shit" sense until I saw a commercial on TV for it. From what I gather, these statements mean that if you use drugs that come from Afghanistan then you're supporting terrorism. Well from the best of my knowledge, the only drugs that we primarily get from there is drugs that come from opium poppies... Opiates... right? Please, if I'm wrong about this then dont read the post any further because its all wrong.
So this means that opiate users are supporting terrorism because the money they spend on opiates is going to Afghanistan to support Osama. This is what everyone here knows already though.

I guess what I'm really bitching at is the fact that they come on the TV saying "If you use drugs you're supporting terrorism" they fail to mention that your local family doctor is supporting terrorism, as is your local pharmacy. What's the main ingredient in Tylenol 3? Codiene! Which is an opiate. But have they taken it off the market? NO.

So basicly im bitching for the sake of bitching because im sure like the rest of you out there, drug propaganda pisses me off more then anything.

Bush W. started this shit, I think in part due to how many little party stores that sell drug pipes and shit that are ran by arabs. It's pure raceism being portrayed as another justified reason to stop the stupid/violent drug ofenders.

Saw a TV ad last night. "Smoke a joint, kill a judge." I think they jumped across the logic chasm with that one.

I am definitely against such adds, it's obviously well thought out propaganda by unkowingly propangized fools such as Barbara Mikulski (S. MD, REp. President ONDCP) whose little fat dwarf ass, cares about nothing, then getting her fat ass into a retirement. She obviously can't run an anti drug campaign on the platform of such that I would show, that people could trust, and sense sincerity, because she does'nt smoke marijuana. I was just noting that there are some truth to the propaganda, otherwise it won't work. Don't you know how propaganda works? Like the propaganda against the Indians, it went like, these primitive horrible savages killed this guy, so let's go kill them all, unknowingly these indians killed that guy in self defense, so that the general public never knew, only did their job as ignit propangandized persons.

I find it really sad that they show the drugs in the trunk of a car, but don't say a damned thing about "If use use petrol/gasoline, you're supporting terrorism".

Here's a healthy dose of reality for you.
Oil supports terrorism. We really don't need to use it any more but were forced to because the government likes getting rich off polluting the planet. Hey if it makes em rich thats all that matters right.
Another thing I don't here them saying is don't by Diamonds!
Diamonds support terrorism they have for along time but there not telling you to stop bying Diamonds are they.
Terrorists make more money selling blood drenched Diamonds and oil than drugs. If you are willing to believe that drugs are supporting terrorist then go for it. I know all kinds of plants grow in the hot dry desolate desert. What a gold mind. No wonder there rich...
Diamonds and Oil are there big money makers and nobody want's to blacklist those on tv hmm... I wonder why? Can we say money.

Obviously buying diamonds and oil, is always supporting terrorism if you look at the methods used, huge corporations are sent in under the guise of a puppet government, with the approval of the u.n. As soon as the minerals are taken, and sold, and the profit is made, these entrepreneurs leave the country and take all the wealth with them. So the terrorism, is how people native to this area terrorize these people, wanting them to leave, and how these people just kill them all.

I would like to believe that I could just exist and not affect anyone else with what I do unless I set out to do this.......but the reality that I have come to understand is that everything I do has some effect on the world and people in it.......

All of us are connected.....

Now to the propaganda........they also fail to mention that political leaders, law enforcement, teachers, clergy, and on and on.........are also involved in drug use and so supporting terrorism while blaming the "low life" (in their opinion thats us!!!).

Just say no only applies to us not to them....in their opinion......

Thats why cocaine use to be legal and is now illegal.

I also wonder why they do drug testing? For jobs exc..
All the hardcore drugs (heroin, cocaine, speed, opium) only stay in your system 3 days Just marijuana takes 30 to 90 days to clear your system.

the opium used for morphine ect is a turkish strain called in the biz druggists opium. right now bush would like you to thin that most of our opium comes from afganistan but thats bull. most of the opium made in afganistan gets consumed over there, in whatever form. america gets most o there smack the same place they get their blow: columbia mainly but al over south america. then theres the golden triangle. afganistans a player, but not a huge one.

Optikal, I just want to point out something. I'm almost positive that Codiene and other opiates in pharmacuticals are synthetically produced. Therefore pharmys have nothing to do with opium poppies being grown in Afganistan.

But yes, this campaign is horribly manipulative and misguided. Its just sick.

hehe... I always wondered what would happen if every last person that smokes cannabis in the US went and turned themselves in at the same time on the same day. Can you imagine 20+ million people all show up and the cop shop at the same time. What would the police do? What could they do?

You're right.....I have to drug test my patients and all the kids know that "X" and "K" are not tested. I have had kids admit to me that while they were in treatment for substance abuse they did X,and K on the weekends and passed their urinalysis on Monday......
As far as weed .....I think it is because it is a "cash crop" and the government can't get its cut..... The other thing is that if they can "catch" someone doing weed, more extensive testing usually reveals other drug use, and possible "dealing".....its kind of "they might get lucky" or "they might find someone willing to narc on friends".....I think that's why they test for cannabis......

During the "war" (wars need to be approved by congress) on the Taliban, the Taliban ordered opium to be grown again (they had outlawed it as being against Islam or something), now the taliban as it was known is gone and the people of afghanistan are growing poppies again.
So, let's do our patriotic duty and support the US backed "Interim Government" and the now "Free" and according to the media beardless people of Afghanistan and buy more opium!

Thats funny!

However I find that stastic of 18 billion $$ being spent on mid east oil amazingly low. Shit the estimate the American pot market from 35 to 40 billion dollars. Surely more is spent on oil.

And the forgot to tell you that the main supporter of drugs is the US government, the reason Afghanistan produces so much poppies was to support the war against the soviets, we new it, we did the same in Vietnam and the same with the contras.

Leary fan hit it right ojn the head. Sure you support terrorism by buying illegal drugs, but why is that? Maybe because drug prices are inflated by drugs being illegal. So Leary fans statement is true. If you support politicians that support the War on Drugs you suppot terrorism, because drugs being illegal is what makes it possible for people like binladen to make a profit off of selling them.

So the commercial is true, the problem is they only tell people one side of the story, the side that will keep them on thier side.
