STALKER

I want to download STALKER again and play abit. I found out there have been some expansions released, Do i need the orginal to play the expansions or can i just download the expansion?

Havent heard of any expansions. There is a new game that came out called Stalker Clear Sky which is a separate install. I loved every bit of Stalker, and despite hearing many complains experienced no bugs with the game. But after downloading Clear Sky I could barely play it from the start. Some events weren't triggered, others didn't work the way they should, the game is simply broken. :frown: I suppose they might have released some new patches for it by now but after the amount of frustration i had with it the first time around I dont feel like giving it a second chance.

The original Stalker on the other hand, i think about pretty often. I might just replay it sometime soon. That game was a serious challenge and lots of fun and immersion. Only gripe being the slow beginning.
