Penis Envy Sclerotia

Here are some multi-spore PF cakes (BRF& verm) of Penis Envy. One seems to have produced a mutation. It looks like sclerotia forming on the surface of the casing (50/50+). After harvest they weighed 12g wet. The big one in the lower left-hand corner was cloned.

I am going to say that's not Sclerotia.

Only because I have not read that before.

If it is that could be very interesting in deed.

Oh, I'm sure its not realy sclerotia. They only grew on top of the casing. But if they continued to grow that way, it might be the start of a cool new strain. Have to wait and see.

That happens with PE a lot. It likes to form ugly little blobs of tissue.  Treat them like fruits.  They work :wink:

I just pulled a dozen of these off of penis envy. They are dense, and will make quite a bit dried. I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, since this is my first time casing. I have had descent success with fruiting on rye berries. Mmmmm my first truffles.
