In some ways maybe. I gave up trying to figure such things out. I'm just my programs and that's about all I can say about it.

I personally feel the human experiment has failed. I'm not the only one.

the pessimistic doesnt live in the here and now. Hes lost in time debating himself over things irrelevant to his own life.

Have a conversation about politics and government and even I will begin to feel pessimistic, but life aint fuckin politics or government. Fuck the media all together.

Humanity hasnt failed at all. Have you? Were all still trying. Still hoping and still praying. We all want love and we all want to feel connected. As long as that desire for the spirit remains, there is nothing wrong we can do.

Could the human experiment WIN?

Failure seems inevitable given the circumstances and where we are at this moment right now.

Even then it's important for me to maintain a positive outlook on this failure. Doing so just might make it a personal victory, and hopefully a victory for others as well.

There here and now is everything. You can't tell me that hearing gun shots every night and reports of gang-related violence in your own town doesn't affect your 'here and now' and be telling the truth.

I hear about gun shots, but I dont hear gun shots. Im sorry that you live in a shitty place like that, but if you are hearing gun shots at night than it would be a good idea to focus on a way out of that scenario.

Failing can be positive, I can agree with that.

I look back on my life with utmost disgust at how much I've fucked up(failed) and could have done things in a different way

but then I come back to my present situation
(nothing too special in our societies standards, besides the obvious amazingness)
and I am :grin: from ear to ear.


life is a game, if you can't win or lose it then why are we all playing it?

it just depends on your own self to figure out how to win at your particular life.

an example of what I do when I am winning is loving, learning, and chilling with the now of existence.

I try to be aware of those that are in a horrible situation..and working towards the betterment of others is a way of winning for myself as well.

in the end it's all about me
but me is u so that's ok with me

pessimism is generally misunderstood and incorrectly utilized, it can actually be quite constructive and provide supportive elements pertaining to realism.  if you really want to get all of the things you want out of life you're going to have to figure out how and when to be pessimistic.

also, when you're pessimistic about something there's more of a chance that the result will exceed your expectations leaving you with a feeling of accomplishment or pleasant surprise, whereas being overly optimistic often results in huge letdowns.

I don't know why it seems to be human nature to choose extremes.. one thing doesn't work so I'll try the exact opposite.. that's stupid imo, true solutions usually fall somewhere in between the extremes.
