apple compatible remote..??

#9962793 - 03/13/09 03:52 AM (17 years, 7 months ago)

i know there is software if you have a Rf reciever and an apple remote. i have a apple remote but i wnat to use it on a pre RF apple. i also found this which is as cheap as a receiver will be http://www.macworld.com/article/44567/2005/04/airclickusb2.html ; a griffin airclick like 17 bucks shipping included. although it says compatible with mac i am unsure if it works without its special software. ie for XBMC or plex and less importantly frontrow. i am very unfamiliar with RF protical, so a am just wondering if the dongle that comes with teh griffin might work with a apple remote with the twistedmelon software http://twistedmelon.com/mira/ im guessing not. anyway i know what a horrible written question that makes no sense. haha help if you can
