My favorite food is "Sushi"

ANyone else skeptical when they hear this? People say it (Mainly girls), as if it makes them unique/special for eating something so foreign and fucking nasty.........but in reality, i hear more people say they like sushi than cheeseburgers :shrug:

Am i just being a cynical asshole? Or is there actually something magic for some when putting a slimy, raw, nasty excuse for prepared fish in your mouth?

I can believe it.  Sushi just tastes so god damn fresh and delicious.  I don't think of sushi as foreign anymore either.  There's just so many places to get it.

It is my favorite, but I do not boast about it on a daily basis.

There is def magic in it.  probably having to do with the seaweed.

Perhaps different people just like different foods man... I happen to really like sushi, and although I like cheeseburgers, I no longer eat them. I dont make a point of discussing that preference with random people (so if that is what you are referring to, yeah that is pretty annoying), but what's wrong with liking "foreign" food? And obviously "fucking nasty" is subjective.

i'd much rather eat good sushi than a cheeseburger.  but then again, i'm barely just now working red meat back into my diet, so a whole burger would probably put me in digestive hell.

there's a lot of good sushi out there.  a lot of variety too.  there's a great sushi place by here where you can pretty much get stuffed for 10-12 bucks.  and for decent sushi, that's pretty baller.

I have eaten sushi a few times and really liked it
I have never eaten slimy sushi though.
