It seems to me that Obama is a very eloquent speaker that won the hearts of many Americans because he promised change in a time when we craved it. For many people, words were enough. The idea of a new, better America and a historical breakthrough that could mean the beginning of a revolution in thought made people listen and follow him without stopping to wonder about how he would back up those claims.

So far, I'm not particularly impressed with him.

Most of you didn't jump on the anti-Bush bandwagon until after he was reelected. It's pretty funny to see people form such strong opinions of Obama when he's been in office ~2 months. Especially those people that you know voted for him. I'll admit the whole "Obama is the messiah/Change we can believe in/I voted for him because he's black, but won't admit it" crowd turn me off to the guy and make me second guess who we put in the White house. But I'm not going to grasp at straws to make him look like a bad president. Leatherjacketdude- I took you totally seriously. Please enlighten us some more. :rolleyes:
