Oh great another Dark Side of Oz thread. Anyway, the trick with Pink Floyd's album Dark Side of the Moon and the movie The Wizard of Oz is, on the third lion roar, press play on your system with DSOTM in and it goes in sync like perfectly. great for trippin. make sure you turn the sound down on the tv so you can hear the album though.

Dont forget about playing "Echoes" from Meddle at the end of 2001 when the "Jupiter and Beyone the Infinite" sequence starts. Unreal!!! Just make sure you're tripping and have read some reports on the ending of the movie, it's REALLY trippy sober, let alone trippin...

Echoes also goes with Fantasia very well, as does One of These days I'm going to cut you into little pieces. Choes goes with the begining, right when the conductor fades to red the song should start. One of These Days goes with the part with Mickey Mouse, i don't know where it starts though. All i know is when you see Mickey Mouse's siloute come down on the broom with an axe you hear 'One of thes Days I'm going to Cut you Into Little Pieces!'

I think Dark Side of The Wizard Of Oz is totally over-rated. Some people love it I guess, but I didnt find it that amusing, and when the CD ran out of music and the movie was still going we discovered that alot of other music goes just as well with the wizard of oz. If you want to try this one, be sure to plan some alternate fun just in case you arent amazed.

Yeah, I guess DSOTM w/ Oz is pretty cool but I agree you could put a lot of things to it. Something I find amusing is sticking on MTV (or muchmusic as us Canadians must do) but turn off the sound and play whatever music you want to it. A good chunk of the time the videos and your music go together pretty sweet.------------------ No, there was nothing wrong with him. Ok what ya got to do is put on DSOTM at the 3rd roar of the MGM lion. The second that ends, start ANIMALS, the second that ends, start THE WALL..I suggest using a multi CD changer that moves the CDs quickly....That should do it......It may be bullshit, but i think theres something kinda cosmic and trippy,,,,,as with anything Floyd,,,,,,, goin on here.....Do it stoned or trippin

It's only overrated if you don't put it in sync with the movie. DSOTM-OZ is good, just dub the cd on the movie then whammo... it gets really good cause most people can't sync it right

It's the best movie/album to watch when messed up. The music and the movie go great together. To sinc it up all you have to do is start the movie, and start the music (with the album on repeat) when the MGM lion roars for his third time. It's great, you got to try it. Another one I've heard of but haven't tried yet is the Tool album Eneama, or Aneama, or whatever and the movie Fantasia... I know it's wierd.------------------ I'm a sloth

Thanx for being understanding, Iron Lung. At the time I really was listening to track 7 on the Division Bell CD. This is what we are talking about here. Thanx, sir tripsalot, that site is now in my I.E. favorites. A friend of mine will often play for me footage of WWII dive bombers with Jimmie Hedrix's "Are you Experienced". I recently dethroned the hypnotic power of my TV by turning of the sound and playing the radio to the Power Puff Girls. Man, are those cartoon girls' pupils dialated!
