Listened to 'cut' today. I must say it's art. It's not trippy the way we usually think of trippy. And I certainly wouldn't be into it if I was tripping (nor would I listen to The Wall). But it would've been a good way for them to go out. Rodger at least...

Go out with something obscure and strange that is your own style, after having insanely popular music for years and years as opposed to becoming what the fans want to hear... never 'living up' to what they once were. Sure, the band couldn't have lasted that way, and many people would lose interest but all things must come to an end. This *would* have been a decent way for them to go.. heh

we were at the beach for the 4th of july this weekend and listened to "dub side of the moon"

its like reggae remix of dark side of the mooon

was pretty good beach music

probably didnt hurt that almost everyone there had tripped at some point in their life

Interstellar Overdrive is a goodin, too. From Piper at the Gates.

Both songs are long and trippy... the way Floyd should be.

Brain Damage by Pink Floyd. Then again maybe that's only me cause I listened to this track on a 1/4 of mushies and it completely changed my perspective on Pink Floyd.

Echoes is a trippy ass song.

Are some of my favorites, i dont know why but i never found dark side of the moon to be very psychedelic, its really good music but its kinda too perfect. Medle, the wall and others have more feeling to me. I swear some of my first true psychedelic experiences were listen to the wall at night SOBER when i was about 10 years old!

Also the movie Pink Floyd: Live in pompeii is AWESOME !

Everytime we trip we watch Pink Floyd Pulse in 5.1 It's truly amazing on a big screen.
