Hey shroomites, I just got home from Astoria and surrounding areas. Went over to Long Beach on Sunday, then picked Dobie up on Monday (as you already know) and found about 90 grams of azures (plus about 20 more shrooms we couldn't weigh because I ate 'em), then today I decided to return to the same spot we went to yesterday to do a more thorough search and I came away with 300 more fresh grams. Quite a fucking haul for someone who before this weekend had found only one solitary liberty cap in his entire hunting history.  :cool:

Anyway, I'm setting them out to dry right now. I would love to post a picture, but I don't have a camera, so you'll just have to imagine what these blue beauties look like.

You would've loved it Dobie. I walked way farther down the road and then traipsed back into the brush and found this little valley area that looked dry, but that was actually filled with patch after patch of azures. It was obvious no one had disturbed the area because there were many very old mushrooms that had opened fully and rotted half way (I didn't pick those ones ;-P)

I tried Ft. Stevens, but I couldn't find shit. I did find a lot of other kinds of mushrooms, including amanita muscaria.
