PF race,how long after cap opens till spores drop?

AND ... How long do they continue to drop for.  I tried using caps that were open for 2 days... tried 4 of them and got very few spores, after a 24 hour wait :confused:.  just wondering if I picked too soon or too late or just got a lousy yield. I thought I could see spores dropped on the stem, but it may have been blueing

Sometimes fruit bodies just don't drop all that many spores, not sure why, haven't read all that much, but I've had the same experience. I'm sure one of the smarter members can explain why .
