one thing I do know about is lighting. Yes you could grow with those lights but there will be a higher amount of yellow and red spectrum of light which is good for stem growth but not so much for foliage growth. Tends to make plants long and lankey between leaves.

You want as high K rating as possible. Cool whites. Not to be confused with the sign industry as "cool whites" in signs are the yellow looking light. You want the blue/green spectrum enhanced bulbs. For consumer bulbs these would be cool whites like what I use, GE ECOLUX CHROMA 50. Lowes has em. If you want HO or VHO bulbs, look up your local sign shop and purchase the sockets and bulbs in "DAYLIGHT". You can't buy those bulbs at a store. You can however buy HO and VHO consumer grade "COOL WHITES" but are a little more expensive and don't last as long.

Hope that helps.

yes for veg 5000k-65000k seems good aquarium lights go higher, but I don't think that would do any good hardly much red past 10000k.2000k-3000k does good for flowering, or a mix of 2700k and 6500k bulbs alternating would be good too depending on how many bulbs your fixture holds.

get dem HID.

maybe in the future LEDs will improve a bit, but as of now, you need either sunlight or HID to really do much.

Floroz can keep a plant alive, but HID will make it thrive.

do you mean for mushroom, that don't need energy to grow?

Or for  cannabis?  For cannabis, I would like to see two clones, in same everything floroz vs. HID, I think the difference would be clear.

Also floroz give off more heat/ watt, and less light / watt...

I use a cool white floro at 5500k for mushrooms and my cacti and they work great. I havent used anything else to compare to but I am satisfied.

Why do you use a floro for mushrooms, you can easily just put them close to a window and get the same results for free.

Use a light source directly above the shrooms so that they grow straight up, not sideways and falling over lol. Putting them next to a window works but you will have a higher rate of what I call "flops"..

I like the Hortilux Eye HPS lights. Its great for all stages, but be prepared to drop a little cash.

And floros are terrible for cacti. Also they are very cool compared to anything else. I don't know where such nonsense comes from. Sorry.

If you do go with floros, I recommend a CFL for a small closet. IMO the best one on the market is made by Hydro Farm. Its around $130 dor the reflector and 200W bulb.
