Lophophora indoor lighting spectrum

Ive been growing  Lophophora Williamsii for a few years now, but a change in circumstances has forced me to have to move them into an upstairs closet.

Basically ive got to set up a lighting system to only cover a small area (1m x 1m approximately). Because of the small area im considering all options MH/LED/Flourescent (my business is bespoke lighting and can get everything at cost or build it myself).

Personally I love the idea if LED (thats what I work with day in day out and have access to the latest chips/drivers), but TBH I can see it just being a hassle in regard to getting it just right.

Has anyone got any experience with LED for Lophophora?

Because of ease and reasonable running costs im more inclined to just go with four 18w T5 Flourescents (linkable so more can be easily added). However im unsure what spectrum of flourescent to use, I was thinking of three tubes around 6000/6500k (cool white/daylight) and one at 2700k (warm white), or would it be better to keep them all cool white? 

Do mature Lophophora and seedlings respond to light spectrums the same way, or do they change over time? 

Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated

I have no experience with LEDs, but what I have seen has been less than impressive after the seedling stage.

The 4x T5 fluorescent bulbs should be sufficient for a 1x1 M space for both seedlings and mature Lophophora. I don't think spectrum makes a huge difference in terms of growth. Flowering of mature Lophophora may be different, but they flower very readily and often in less than perfect lighting conditions.

I'm personally running 3,1 6500K/2700K T5 for Trichocereus and was previously running 4 6500K. I haven't see much a difference attributable to the lights since the switch.
