In vermont I suggest you look for Psilocybe azurescens. I don't think cubensis grow there but I'm not 100% sure. Thats my two cents. Peace Josh

Hello,
You will find neither Psilocybe Cubensis nor Psilocybe azurescens in the state of Vermont.
Cubensis is a warm weather species which grows wild from cow manure. In the U.S. they can be found in the states which border the Gulf of Mexico, (Florida Georgia Alabama Mississippi Louisianna Texas).
Azurescens are a cold weather species that is known to grow wild only in the states of Oregon and Washington. There has been confusion over the distribution of this mushroom in the wild because it has been cultivated before in outdoor beds in many other states. But they do not grow wild in Vermont.
Keep shroomin,
You should be looking for Panaeolus subbalteatus, Psilocybe semilanceata possibly, and also Amanita muscaria.
Keep shroomin, GGreatOne234

Someone has already told you what shrooms grow there. Which is far too generous in my opinion. It's pretty easy to find out where they grow if you just do a search in google or similar search engine.

Listen dude, we are not your tools. Don't -tell- us to give you replies because you -need- to know what "shroomies" grow in Vermont.
You will not find any psilocybe mushrooms in Vermont, and even the very rare few that :might: grow there, with your attitude and lack of knowledge you will not find any.
Amanita muscaria and pantherina grow there, use the SEARCH function and you'll find out how to identify them.
Thing is, you most likely won't find anymore there this year. Too cold now.
Take it easy, Pho

Hey! I always find shrooms in Arizona! Just haven't been up north to look for anything active...I have heard of stories of liberty caps/laughing gyms growing up north Sedona/White mountain areas....I can't be positive on it though....There's so many other pretty kinds though sometimes that's just as exciting
