Charcoal in Oyster Shells

I went to two pet stores and one feed store looking for oyster shells and only had luck at one. But the problem is I read the back of the box and it said it also contained grit and charcoal. Now, i doubt the grit would do much harm, but I dont know about the charcoal. Anyone else encounter this or have any ideas? Thanks

Charcoal won't cause any problems.
