I think this is good because the mass media is reporting it and I think a lot of people are rolling their eyes about this. Even my sweet grandma said this isn't a big deal. This is the same person who voted against medical marijuana in Montana in 2006. She did add with concern that she hopes that Michael Phelps doesn't go onto harder drugs. I gave my grandma a schooling for saying that.

Saw this shit coming. They're not going to let headlines like "Should Marijuana be Legalized?" stand without some sort of negative press. People might start questioning why they think pot is so dangerous.

What really pissed me off is articles like this, essentially blaming pot smokers for the violence of drug cartels. They fail to mention that if it was legal, they would be out of business. Besides, do you think an olympic athlete would settle for Mexiweed? I bet that shit was grown in Cali.

IMO, this is karma at its finest. it serves those kids right for taking the pictures so that they could sell them for money. they could have cost phelps his career, just so they could make a buck.

instead of having a cool story to tell their grandkids: "i partied with a gold-medalist one time. he smoked me under the table!"- they let the all mighty dollar cloud their judgment and never took into consideration that they were possibly ruining phelps' future, as well as their own.

they got what they deserved.

the only reason theyre making such a fucking big ass deal about this is because the number of people that are for legalizing marijuana is so large and is growing so fast.

they need to keep dumb shit like this in the news to make it seem like marijuana is such a horrible fucking thing, in hopes of keeping people convinced its bad and that it shouldn't be legalized.

but the paper was published in the UK. do you really think they arrested those who published the paper? NO.
