JFAC. Most of the death metal I listen to now.. Actually, I didn't think I would ever listen to any of the music I currently listen to.

I have to say syd barrett was probably the most influential songwriter ever, you can hear him in pretty much anything really strongly.
As for music I'd have to say that i never imagined I'd have eclectic tastes in general, there's a whole bunch of shit i used to think was crap then i started listening to idm and experimental and since then there's nothing I won't listen to aslong as it's good.

I never saw Alban Berg coming, wow, what a freak. Syd did more in 4 years than any musician in the last half-century.

When I was in highschool I used to listen to garbage like slipknot and lamb of god.
Today I can't believe I thought that shit was good, I'm listening to Portugal the man right now lol, I would have probably thought these guys were gay 5 years ago.

It took me years to finally give into Animal Collective. Avey Tare still isn't my cup of tea, but I like their music a lot now..
