Headaches

Lately I have been experiencing strong, long-lasting headaches. These occur when I am excersizing, or having sex mostly. They are very splitting and can last the whole day. My drug use lately has been limited to oxy, cigarettes and alcohol. Anybody have an idea on what it could be?

How much water do you drink a day?
I have suffered from chronic headaches since I can remember. I find that I can control them somewhat by drinking a lot of water - 2-3 litres a day keeps almost all my headaches away.

I usually get splitting headaches when I combine sex/opiates. :shrug:

This sounds like a case of psychosomatic emotional problems. The headaches are a distraction from your emotions IMO.

Your oxy use, exercizing and sex are no longer enough to distract your from emotions that are bottling up inside of you and trying to burst into conscioussness. Now to create another distraction, your mind which is in control of your blood flow around the body is cutting off some of the blood to your brain which is creating the pain. IMO the sex is not causing the headache rather at the same time as your emotion is trying to escape you decide that you want to distract yourself from it somehow but it isn't enough so a headache comes.

John Sarnos books are very good for this sort of thing (Mind/body prescription is his latest). The main points are
1. To accept the psychological rather than physical cause of the pain
2. To focus on the emotions and stuff that you don't like in your life and try to resolve them rather than focus on the headache. Whenever you are aware of the headache shift attention to the emotional.
