Sex Headaches

What. The. Fuck.
Anyone have an explanation for these? Most importantly, a cure?

My current theory is stress.

Additional info:
They happen consistently for a month or so, then go away for a several month period.
They are the most painful experience I've ever had, each time.

Sex headaches are essentially exertion headaches, correct?  When I get exertion headaches from improper weight-training breathing, it also causes me to get headaches during sex/masturbation.  Do you headaches worsen as you get closer to climax?

My advice, take ibuprofen (or your favored NSAID) before sex.  Make sure you are breathing correctly.  If the headaches persist, lay off the girl or guy until they go away.... speaking in long term.
