Ultrasonic and coolmist humidifier

Ive notice that when preparing a martha stewart closet its recommended to use both a coolmist and an ultrasonic for air exchange and humidity. I have a vicks ultrasonic humidifier. Do I just need this because it does both or am I missing something here? Just trying to figure things out.

Cut holes in the plastic for fresh air exchange.  Use the humidifier for humidity.

The coolmist often nearly only serves the purpose of exchanging fresh air. Depending on your average RH you may be able to look at alternate means to do this (like using a fan) and just use the Ultrasonic for humidity control. However we would need to know more about your grow area and humidifier as well as the average ambient RH in your house.

in my home mdae martha i just use a coolmist with the intake piped to the outside ... rh hovers around 95% no ultrasonic
