Because knowing that you have disappointed somebody who cared about you and being turned away by somebody you could once run to has no effect?  Why must it be violence?

The guy stole from one of his "friends".  It's highly doubtful that he cares about any disappointment or being turned away at this stage.  As it was an illegal substance, you can't call the cops... but you can at least make it clear that some people don't take being stolen from very kindly.

A beating now and hopefully a lesson learned is better than continuing to steal until someone kills you for it.  :shrug:

Its like beating a retarded kid, you really think he is going to get the message you intend to deliver or is he just gonna hate the person hitting him for hitting him.  Not really a "lesson learned" just a chance for the weak spirited to vent.

by the way being Primal is not all the way bad. Sorry I hang around a bunch of dudes, My bros, cousins etc. So I have the habit of thinking like one sometimes...

Primal- grabbing your food before anyone touches it- as well as eating it fast,or chugging

I would use violence as a last resort. If he owns up for it and pays it back, i would leave it at that and just cut him out the circle. If he dosen't then you may have to resort to violence, but not extreme violence, proabably even the threat of violence will be enough.

At the very least, it's a deterrant.  Doing nothing only sends the signal that you're easily taken advantage of.

Certain people could care less for threats or words.  Pain is the only thing they understand.

its not self defense to beat up somebody who took something of a man made dollar value.  its a plant.  learn from it and give it no more fret.

If its the only way then fighting will work but you've got to know who your fighting these days.  It seems that no one has any regard for people that are down anymore, like stomping their head while they are knocked out and kicking em in the face and shit.  Everytime I see that on a youtube vid or something it makes me furious.

Thats very true. I got in a fight in a bar a little while ago. We were fighting for a while, the guy was stronger, got a good punch in and knocked me down. While i was down he kept punching me in the head. Luckily i kicked him off me so it wasn't so bad. If i hadn't I'm sure he would have kept going till i stopped moving. I have some kind of mild but permanent damage to my left eye since that incident. It really turned me off violence, i should of just walked away instead of being so prideful when he insulted me for no reason. One thing to remember is that people generally will not pick a fight with you unless they are sure they will win.
