quick pop corn overview?

alright, from all i have gathered, i think i can say that pop corn is a fairly simple substrate.
i have read alot about it, but do not have a complete written tek, so i guess i am asking if this, half assed/ from memory version, would work.

simmer popcorn for an hour.
microwave for 2 minute intervals, for 10 min.
then load into jars...*?
steam for an hour.
cool and then innoc.

*?- i am a bit unsure about the water content the jars should have.
is simmering them for an hour enough, i have heard it is, and i have heard it isnt.

any simple touch ups, or complete changes would be helpful.

leave out the microwave part. The tek was recently written up and is on the site. My friend overseas told me that it is slow to germinate but takes off after germination. just check out the tek and you will be fine

After you simmer make sure you drain it for atleast a half hour,and to be on the safe side if you don't have a pc, after you steam them for an hour I would wait till the next day and steam them again so you'll get the rest of the endospores.
I've used corn once with good success, but I've used a pc though.

who said popcorn is simple???

for a grain it is easier, and much simpler..... but not simple to start with,

its actually quite different then say PFTEK which dosent use whole grain but IS simple....

looking for simple go PFTEK
looking for a challenge try popcorn.
