pinkish sub (contam?)

First let me say I LOVE THE PMP!!!!  But that's another post.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest..

I have had a few cakes that appeared fully colonized, with the exception of a pink small blemish on the cake.  Aside from this small smaller than a penny size mark, the cake is fully colonized with the week wait time and ready to go.  When rinsing the cake off, I rub away the discolored area and it goes deep into the cake to a flat plane of pinkish flesh colored area. 

Now I always error on the side of caution and don't put these cakes in my FC.  I have however crumbled these cakes and put them into a tray with coir and they have fruited prolifically.

I've encountered this same pinkish color on several cakes in my experience.  It never appears to be much from the outside, but chasing the color it leads to a fairly large section in the middle. 

I'm sure other people have experienced this, but I was wondering if it is something that I should be concerned about.  I haven't heard of a contam like this.  The entire cake is white, including the middle, except for the pinkish sub plane that it is strung throughout. I've only encountered a cake like this every few months.  Any thoughts?

Nah, just the standard BRF & verm cakes in 1/2 pint jars.

Although, the light pink color is a meaty color, but it's a fade pink.  Like I've said, I've fruited cakes with this condition before, I was just curious how concerned I should be.  I just recently started some runs in a PMP and getting amazing results.  I don't want to put something that could potentially ruin the perfect environment I have going.

It could be lipstick mold but I really can't be to sure with out a picture.
