SNL sucks these days

Just watched the intro for tonight's episode, man these skits have been garbage all year round.

the only good skit, is usually the 1-2 minute intro and then it's garbage from there on  out.

The 90s will be the best.....they might as well close the show now, IMO

Well, for the most part I agree, however, you should take a peek at the musical act tonight The Fleet Foxes; great stuff IMO.

Hmmm, I thought I remember people saying it was getting a lot better. Never really bothered to check obviously.

I've always liked Weekend Update no matter who was doing it though.

the past 6 years have been real shitty.

I still watch it because they usually have 1-2 good skits and there's nothing better to do. I don't rave anymore.

snl has never been interesting to me, I do like some of the stuff on there, but I can never watch a full episode.

A lot of the stuff is topical, it kinda has a shelf life.

They don't allow punk rock bands after John Belushi brought "Fear" in, and after the Incident with Rage AGainst the Machine, the music aspect pisses me off.

Molly Shannon, not funny, irritating.

Heres some running bits I like, and  all bits should be archived for free on something like a youtube for SNL. Mad magazine has all their magazines on CD-Rom and have done this twice, Mad is way funnier, but still.

Rob Schneider's bit where hes always by the coffee machine, copy machine, some kind of office, and finally absurd places that just make you laugh cause you dont expect it.  You know the one "Steve, the Stevemeister, Steverino, making the copies" no one ever seemed to actually be annoyed by the guy. It was just wacky dry humored stuff.

Anything with Chris Farley, particularly the "living in a van down by the river" stuff.

Whatever the bit that they always had that started with Chevy Chase and had Dennis Miller, cant think of it.

Although SNL has been really goin in the shitter,
i think mad tv is way more immature and is for
silly, little kids.  SNL's last really good year was
about 1998... it was allll good up until the millenium.
