Yesterday I went out and bought an HDMI cable for my PS3. MY GOD. I can't believe I went so long without one! All my games look SOO much better.

Do you ever notice that if you watch certain shows (no documentary types) they look soooo fake. I mean of course they are but thats the reason 70's movies kind of suck is because they look like movie sets.

I agree that a lot of Planet Earth looks like CG. I remember the first time I saw Deep Seas I was at a friend's house smoking AK-47 and we got so high that we thought it was CG for sure.

I was watching National Geographic or Discovery HD and the show was Tiger : A spy in the jungle. It's so crips and clear that it looks fake but you can obviously tell it's real but it looks fake! I'm not complaining, I love it!!

It's called the Red One camera and is doing mind blowing shit. I want one so bad, but they going rate is around 30K to start.

I think they have resolution up to 9K now (film format is roughly 4K to give you an idea)

But thats what I mean... Real shows even look fake but are not... fake shows look fake and are kind of ruined in HD... that is if you like the fake shows

You don't need a HD monitor.. you just need an LCD screen which capable 1280x1024 or better, providing your graphics card is up to scratch. LCD Computer monitors are much better than TVs for the most part :smile:.

I grabbed it from goem.org, they have like a permanent freeleech on the whole thing in high def :grin:.
