My city just finished a cold snap of -30C to -35C...I'm done with the cold!! haha  It was sunny and like +5 today :thumbup:

How's everyone doing tonight?

I'm on beer number 5 and have been cleaning my palce for the last 3 hours.

none of that compares to the -45 celcius we had here today. They had warnings all over the radio and shit that said exposed skin will freeze if left outside for more than 5 minutes. It is definitely shitty out. Supposed to get 3 more days of this too :grrr:

I feel sorry for you man.

I spent the winter in a remote northern alberta community and it would be -50C without windshield...and being flatland up there...with wind, I remember severe warnings on the radio of -70C and above.  Cold shit.

I had to shovel a shitload of snow off the roof of a lumber mill in such conditions.  It was -67C with windshield and here I am on the roof of a lumber mill...completely exposed to the elements.  Regardless of clothing, I had to come in every half hour to warm up.

It was-19F last night for me! But tonight its only -5. I'm currently getting dunk and watching a live feed to gaza. Shit is going down over there!

I just finished my last beer.  It's 9pm here.  I usually am asleep before midnight.  I really want to go get more beer and join in on some awesome lnc tonight, but I'm hesitant.  The liqour is like a 5 minute drive away.  I really shouldn't though, but I want to :grin:

no offense, but for school i took a 3 week trip up north and a 3 week trip down south....long story short norht > south

i will give you this, the south has better national park but the cities are lame in comparison

I'm not huge on southern pride. I mean I enjoy living in the south, I think for tourism though it'd be much more boring. Dallas is a shitty town to visit unless you have friends living here, but I enjoy living here. :shrug:
