In the thread preview (mouse hover-over) can we make it so it previews the most recent unread thread, instead of always the first post of the thread?

Yes, in your display preferences change the "always show first unread post on mouseover post preview" setting.

Leave the settings the way they are, that way you can preview both the first and last post in a thread....
Just hover your mouse over the person's name on the right....

(You just can't do them both at the same time, unless you are accurate and SOOOOPERDOOOOOOOOOPERFAST with your mouse.... :wink:
