online vocal lessons or vocal training cd's?

I used to do vocals in a death metal band ,but I want to train my self to sing and not just growl like a retarded demon. I have a horrible singing voice but I think I can improve it with lots of practice. I'm looking to maybe do some funk/blues/jamband stuff.

Does anyone know of any good vocal training cds out there that aren't a scam?
