Addicted to my allergy med?
    #9524393 -

I stopped taking my allergy Med, Allegra-D 12hr (60mg fexofenodine/120mg psuedophedrine) in August.  Before then, I had been taking it daily for at least a year.  I have felt awful in the last two months, and I've also tripped twice since then (mushies and acid), which probably didn't help much, especially with the anxiety.

Does anyone know some of the withdrawl symptoms from psuedophedrine?  Or how long they last?
I looked it up, but they were listed as Side-Effects rather than withdrawls:  (I underlined what I've been feeling)
    *fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat;
    *confusion, hallucinations, unusual thoughts or behavior;
    *severe dizziness, anxiety, restless feeling, or nervousness;
    *increased blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision, trouble concentrating, chest pain, numbness, seizure);
    *easy bruising or bleeding, unusual weakness, fever, chills, body aches, flu symptoms; or
    *urinating less than usual or not at all.
    *loss of appetite, stomach upset;
    *problems with memory or concentration;

my main symptom is anxiety, and I assume many of my symptoms are branching from that.  I'm a nervous person to begin with, but this is almost irrational anxiety/fear.  i get panic attacks randomly, my breath is shallow, and my appetite has been reduced because of it...
...which has my doctor wanting to put me on anti-depressants....of which I've tried several in the past, and don't want more. :frown:

One of the best cures for anxiety is exercise. Promise.

Do push-ups until exhaustion. Then, wait 60 seconds and do more.

You might get a little more anxious when you first start, but once you reach the point of exhaustion - it is nearly impossible to be anxious.

Seriously, you can try meditating or otherwise, but exercise is k3y for reducing overall bodily physiology.
