Spiritual & Religious visitations
    #9484177 -

I'm interested if anyone here at M&P have any religious visitations/hallucinations that they would like to share. Whether it be sober, under the influence, or in a dream.
Have they helped you in anyway?
Did it have any meaning to you?

A couple of years ago i saw a reaper on Yopo snuff. open eyed.

And a few weeks ago i saw shiva and kali on mescaline in what i describe as a level 5 experience. This one in particular has got me thinking about the Yugas, and synchronicity with mayan prophecy.

I am, though, an agnostic with an atheistic lean, if a true religious experience kicked me in the balls i probably still would not know what to make of it, let alone take any action based upon it.

Not yet, unfortunately! - Though I've tried acid, cubies, weed and some other crazy stuff, i too 'lean' toward atheism, i prefer to call myself a deeply religious non believer - maybe the gods are hiding from me or they don't think i'm awake properly, though i will add my experiences on nothing - i witnessed a suicide in 96 and the girl involved often visits me after a sleep paralysis episode (i don't consider her apparition as part of a neurological issue)

Sounds great! I have peyote (currently flowering!) and san pedro growing:)

Though i consider cactus my favourite trip. I find it the hardest to get past a lvl 3 experience, and in alot of ways i like it for that, its a good party drug and a good 'at home' drug. But never to be underestimated for its potential as a visionary drug, as i've learned.

I would like to think i am on the path to awakening to something, whatever it is, but i can't get past the idea/fact that it is 'just the drugs' heh

When i was 4 i had a near death experience in which i came into contact with my spirit guide. I still remember what it looks like too. It was Almost like a black whisp with eyes and a mouth with an oval head with a whispy body. It had no arms and no legs. All i can really describe it as, is a black casper without the cartoonish look.

That is the best i can do in paint. But i still remember in much deal how it looked, moved and spoke to me.

On salvia i was also revisited by it and another woman. The woman was a transparent outline of a woman but was filled with black and electricity . It was like these electric blue lightning strikes were overlapping her.

While on lsd i saw the eye of horus(i did not know this at the time i was tripping and later found out when reading about egyptian gods) and was visited by a transparent woman wording something to me.

These things are very personal to me and i'm surprised i can even share these things with you guys. I think i've only told 2 or 3 close people these things.

thanks for sharing
If you don't mind me asking. Did you try to communicate back to the spirit guide with any success?

Well i remember it communicating to me. This is how i remember the experience. I started choking on an icecube and my uncle noticed and grabbed me and rushed me over the sink and held me over it trying to make me cough it back up. Then i remember seeing behind them( i was at my grandparents house) holding me over the sink. I walked over to the bathroom in the kitchen and looked out the window and saw him arcing over the highway and trailing behind him was his black whisp. He came through the window and he stood there for a second. The next thing i know i'm looking down at the sink spitting out an ice cube. If it did communicate with me i do not remember. But over the years i never really remembered or payed much attention to it until a few years ago when i started getting into these kinds of things. It is a very strange experience and i am still unsure if it was there to save me or there to guide me on.

When i saw a reaper on yopo, i was mostly affected by what i think was the 5-Meo-DMT and Bufotenine in the seeds than the DMT. I felt poisoned - like a burdening weight in my whole body. And it was as if he was waiting for me to fall into a hypertensive crisis, so he could whisk me away.

Damn frightening, but i did have alot of yopo - couldn't take the required amount in the required amount of time, so i ended up having lots over a 30min period, which was foolish - never again will i do that.

Do you still see this apparition? Does/Did she communicate in anyway?

Yes, I have episodes when I'm stressed - but it's not 'normal' stress that brings it; maybe a combo of lack of sleep and crankiness? - She's mostly benevolent and I understand her intentions so.  She comes to say thanks for treating her with dignity at the scene of her death and sorry for freaking me out hehe and maybe to confirm there certainly is an afterlife... Though I'm a skeptic when it comes to the afterlife, I still cannot rule out tricks of the mind, but how does she appear 'whole' when the last I saw of her was squashed up from a 140ft freefall onto concrete? She has no wounds when she appears and I know if i go with her then I will die and that's what scares me - I havent lived yet!!!

She doesnt speak, but I know why she's there when she comes...

Neurologists say she's the result of dreams projected, I highly doubt it! - Seeing her in my room as I do and hearing noises that I've never made but turn out true when I test it (banging on objects, for example) - Great thread, keep sharing!

Right, I'm off - Volunteering for christmas this year with some folks in London:)

Merry Christmas to you all!

When I quit smoking the stuff of my dreams were outright ghoulish and deformed, like siamese status and beings taking the form of supposed old souls or piles of laundry.

I even saw a spoon looking dude as well but he had quite a large body and my face on it, I originally got the idea from a book about an efrit of greed so this one doesnt quite fit the desricption as he had some funky coppered skin for one thing.  It was only a flash so to speak but it gave me a jolt when I woke up otherwise i was just looking at my arm and their were multicolored diamonds appearing over my sweater in the seams.

I recently had an interesting experience.
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/9382513#9382513

And I saw several ghosts as a child. Lately I've been seeing things in the corner of my eye, but usually it's something that is actually there, and my brain turns the image into something else. Weird HPPD sort of, but it's been happening a lot.

The weirdest thing I've ever seen sober was when I was about 12 years old, I was on my way to school looking out the window, and right as I glanced at a telephone wire I saw something super weird. I saw a quick long black blur of a line shoot towards the telephone wire, and the second it hit the wire, a pigeon appeared in the exact spot sitting on the wire. Imagine a pigeon abruptly taking off in flight, and then that video being reversed and sped up alot. That's sort of what I saw. And it wasn't a pigeon flying towards the telephone line and landing. The blur was moving upwards, and for how quickly the pigeon appeared there was no way it managed to be resting on the wire that fast. I don't know what the fuck it was, I guess maybe just a brain glitch.

Aaa...E I O Uuu...A E I O Uuu..A E I O uh Uuu..

Ooo...U E I O Aaa...U E I Aaa..A E I O Uuuuu...

Its interesting you mention being younger. My most profound spiritual experiences were before i was 7... the last i remember was when i was 6 and when i stayed at a friends house on a couple of occasions, i could never sleep due to a sea of horrible agonizing screaming. It sounded all around... so loud. Though in saying that it could have easily been an ear infection messing up loud music from next door or something...

Does anyone reckon we're more susceptible to other-worldly things when we're young?

Definitely. We aren't programmed enough yet to block out our right side of the brain. Though we can always continue this path into adulthood it gets hard.

I don't know how true this is or not. But as a baby growing up into a child we use our right side of the brain more than our left side of the brain. As we start getting into school we are taught by only using our left side of the brain which starts to block out the right side of the brain and its spiritual connection, creativity, imagination and what not.

For example:
LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS

uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past
math and science
can comprehend
knowing
acknowledges
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies
practical
safe

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS

uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking

For this reason this is why i think we are more prone for spiritual contact as a child unless we practice as we get older to use both sides of our brain for everything, more so the right side.

One Word: Duality

You cannot have Feeling without Logic, likewise Safety versus Risk Taking and if we didn't have this 'problem' of left brain/right brain then we would be.... Animals without self awareness.

I disagree because i have feeling without logic. My point is that we aren't programmed enough as babies or children to use only our left side of the brain in order to relate to everything. As a baby i did not know logic but i saw colors and i had feelings even if i did not understand logically what was going on at the time. As we get older we are more prone to block out most of our right brain functions because we are taught in school to only using our left side of the brain to find answers to problems and situations.  Of course later in life duality is much needed to understand the aspects of things but we are programmed not to by schooling from what i've observed in many people.

Ya, I didnt quite explain properly - you hit the nail on the head, this 'programming' i liken to domestication, that's what education is - as children, before we become logical, we just 'are' and so we 'feel' when there's good things or bad things but not having words to explain them we move straight on, forgiveness is the way of children but logic and knowledge causes us to fall from our grace into suffering and all domestication does is cause us to lose our freedom, rebel as we might try but the world perspective is stronger...
