Resizing animations?

Hey, i was wondering if it's possible to resize animations?
I just tried it in photoshop and was promptly told that it'll only do 1 frame and saving over it, will only do that frame.
I'm not asking you to do it, just wondering if it's possible and how i can do it. I'm trying to decide which one to go with as well. any help is appreciated.

Hey, you're right, I've tried it and PS doesn't do it.

I'm sure GIMP does resize an entire animated gif without messing with the animation. It's how I resized my avatar.


EDIT:
Resized both to 80x80. PS may be the bees knees for general image editing, but sometimes it's good to have altenatives to fall back on.


Ten minutes work, and that includes downloading and re-installing GIMP :wink:

You can do it in Photoshop CS.

You can open it as and animated sequence, there's a trick involved. It's stupid but it works.

File -> import-> video to layers. In the dialog box type "*.*" to show all file types. Select the animated Gif you wish to open. The dialog will ask you which frames to import. Open the animation pallete and you will see all the frames asked for.
