I broke my hand, hitting the wall (intentionally) instead of the dude..

He ran..

Then later, I was to jump down from somewhere, but the cast got in the way of my grips, so I broke my leg..
Had surgery twice to my knee..

And got surgery on my hand now 16.01.2009 ..

I wish I just hit the guy.. But I am sure I made the right choice..

"Fell" about 35 feet off of a small cliff onto hard packed sand and rocks, and didn't die.

Had an entire 40 round clip from an AK emptied into the wall I was sleeping against.....and again, didn't die.

There have been plenty of other occasions where I could have died and didn't. I'm either one lucky bastard, or jebus luvvvvvvvs me.

I twisted my ankles a few times, got tendonitis twice cos of basketball, but that's all for the injuries.

Actually, I :

*Avoided drowning twice

*Avoided being crushed by an angry bull once (I was like 6 years old, it would've been a big mess)

*Avoided getting my neck snapped, falling head first as I was climbing a cliff, during holidays. English tourist caught me, I could never thank him enough.

*Avoided asphyxia in front of my family, they thought I was kidding. But I DID have a small ball stuck in my throat (stupid kid I was).

As for punching a wall, remember guys, always punch with the left side of your hand if you punch with your right hand. The right will almost ALWAYS break. And dont even stick your thumb out like some movie kung-fu fighters. It will snap. If you hit right, you really have to strike hard and several times before it breaks. You are likely to stop before it breaks, because of the pain, anyway.
I was drunk once and hit hard a wall several times, but hopefully I did it correctly so I just had loads of blood and a slightly swollen hand.
Oh, I also killed the party and everyone freaked out, lol.

I dont know that I'd call it lucky, I thought lucky was when you've come out of things unscathed

3 broken ribs
broke a few bones in my foot
3 teeth lost to a fight
stabbed
shot
crushed a finger

other than stitches I'd never spent any time in a hospital

Broken femur - body cast for I don't remember how long.

Lyme's disease - I was 12, was on crazy amounts of medicines for months.

Knee surgery - also 12

Testicular Torsion - 19, when your testicle spins around backwards in your scrotum, doctors say its the closest men can come to understanding the pain of childbirth... they have to cut open your nutsack, untwist the testicle, and permanently attach it to your scrotal wall so it won't spin again, lest the testicle dies from lack of blood due to the torsion.  I won't go in to how painful it was, but I was kept on demerol injections while at the hospital, and then dilaudid and percocets for home care pain management.

Bottle (glass) of fizzy water exploded in my face when I was a year old. Missed my right eye by an 1/8th of an inch.

Spike went through my arm when I was 14 jumping over a fence. Left a 1 inch hole and just missed my brachial artery. It infected badly and they nearly amputated my arm, but the extremely expensive antibiotics (insert chosen deity here bless social security) they were injecting me with did the job and I was fine. If the infection hadn't subsided in 12h I was loosing an arm or my life.

WoW...Mine did too except just 6 months ago.  When it ruptured it was like someone had stabed me in my stomach,  it really sucked.  But it was cool because I got to stay in the hospital for a week with Dilaudid IV every 4 hours.  That's my favorite drug now, it's about 3x stronger than heroin.

I wonder what I was put on.
Maybe that's why I have an addictive personality and I seeked heroin before doing any other opiate :strokebeard:

Got hit head-on by a car going ~40mph while riding my bike when I was 7.
Bike went under the car, I went over it. My skull destroyed the windshield, I flew about 20 feet before landing and sliding for ~45 feet on the asphalt.

Had to be evac'd to the hospital via helicopter, they thought my spine was broken.
Turns out I didn't break anything, no concussions or anything.
I only fractured my right leg and had a lot of gravel embedded under the skin all up and down my legs and in my ass. That was the worst part.. them picking out road debris from under my skin for hours and hours with tweezers. Funny thing is, I never went unconscious.. I still remember the whole thing, getting hit.. spinning through the air.. etc.

Doctors said I was pretty damn lucky, I should have died but instead came out with only a fractured leg and some bruises.
That was my closest brush with death that I can recall anyway.
