Why is that gross?

I think it is an awesome interpretation of something they didn't understand back then. The idea that these mushrooms were heavenly creations of the divine is exciting.

I was just kidding, should have found an appropriate smiley I guess. Didn't really bother me at all; I guess I just found it very surprising, along with most everything else in this article. 

I would think we are much more fucked up about sexuality in modern times even.

On the plus side I found a way to get a similar effect only the semen on my tree is not from a deity.  :penis:

I do think this stuff is really cool and changed the way I think of Christmas.
