Free wild Flammulina velutipes print

I've found a pair of nice fat F. velutipes the other day:

Yes, I'm cloning it, but I also made some prints. If anyone wants to experiment, or wants wild type spores to produce some monocaryons, drop me a PM with your name/address, and I'll send it to you. Free.
Yes, yes, fruiting is not guaranteed when growing from spores, so you'd better know what you're doing. But the possibility of discovering an unusually nice strain when inbreeding from a single spore print is also present: that's where most nice cube "strains" come from.
I only have two spare prints, so first come first served.

Wouldn't it be much easier to process your jars with the fruiting substrate and then inject them with LC?  Do you fruit them in your refrigerator or just chill them to initiate fruiting?  Also, have you had problems with them setting pins against the glass in the jar?

I got your cultures and I'll be testing them out soon!

I PC my jars with the substrate, then shake some WBS spawn into them. I never was a huge fan of LC. Too easy to miss a contamination in it and ruin the whole grow.
I am setting my jars under the enclosed porch to induce fruiting, so they get a range of temperatures from 25 to 50F over a week or so.
Yes, I had issues with pins on the sides and even on the bottom of jars, but they were caused by light hitting jars from all sides. Now, I put my jars into a box, so they only get (very little) light from the top, and they set pins correctly all the time.

Ok, since there is so much interest in Enoki prints, and I have them fruiting, I decided to make some more prints.

Please, keep in mind that while you can grow very decent Enoki from prints, your success is not guaranteed as with a commercial strain.

Now, on to the good stuff: fresh prints of a commercial Enoki, free to anyone. PM me your address (with a name). First come first served.
