my throat

is fucked. any help?  i used to get strep throat alot. i proly still have it from the appearance.. ok so small story.. i have a white spot on one of my tonsils. every so often, id hack a few chunks up.. sometimes it would be that spot on my tonsil that id hack up, other times it wont be.. i feel normal, not feverish or anything.. everytime i try antibiotics, they make it disappear but then it comes right back after its done.. i use saltwater every night to try n get it outta me.. wtf do i do?? after awhile i heard that strep begins to effect the heart? idk wtf 2 do.. i need my tonsils outta me already!!!!:mad2: any suggestions??

ack i feel ya. wish i could give some helpful advice.

i started smoking, which is probably the reason for my throat problems. every morning when i wake up i have the driest throat, and when i drink water afterwards it almost feels like a part of it at the top is swollen from being so dry.

i used to get strep and sore throat a lot too, but usually you stop getting strep so much once you reach a certain age (that's what my doc said - it used to happen to her too).  I've also started taking a multivitamin fairly regularly, and I make sure I take it whenever I start coming down with something.  Yogurt is also helpful because of the probiotics in it - it helps fight off the harmful bacteria.  I also eat lots of fruit, and drink a lot of orange juice, and try to get to bed early, making sure I don't get cold in the night.  Make sure you brush your teeth, and especially gargle with salt water or mouthwash.
