Good Linux Tuts for someone new?
    #9426692 - 12/13/08 08:39 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

I'm just trying to find a good tutorial on just how linux works, how to begin with code anything in general. I have a few sites but more would be awesome.

go to /usr/man/man1 this is the man pages for commands that a normal user can access
run the command info
explore your file system with midnight commander
you will be suprized how much info you have at your finger tips

/usr/doc/Linux-HOWTOs is a very good place to learn about linux so is /usr/doc/Linux-FAQs

you know you are a power linux user when the keyboard key that gets the label rubbed off first is the TAB key.
