The "Marijuana has no medical value" out right lie.

I was wondering if anyone else here knows about the patent 6630507 that was issued on October 7, 2003 to The United States of America, as represented by the Department of Health and Human Services? The patent clearly states the medical values of the canabinoids in Marijuana. How can they have a patent like this, yet still hold it as a schedual 1 drug? A schedual 1 drug is identified as:

(A) The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse. -Marijuana is non-addictive.

(B) The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States. -It does have medical value and you have stated so in US patent  6630507.

(C) There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision. -There is no risk of death, Canabinoids are non-toxic.

Am i missing something here? This is insaine that they can even pretend claim that Marijuana is defined as a schedual 1 drug. It fits none of those classifications. Since it is wrongly claimed as a schedual 1 drug but is not, then it isn't on schedual at all and is not illegal. Well thats my reasoning anyways lol.

The thing is the FDA is never gonna approve of something you smoke for them it's not just the fact that it's marijuana it's also the whole smoking thing.

I honestly can't understand how it can still be schedule I.

You would think so right? I read on cannabis culture that there are more blacks in prison for non violent drug offenders, than there were black slaves. Is that right? Can that be possible? I dont know the numbers myself, but either way everyone knows that prisoners are used as forced labor.

Either i am proving a point using a good source, or i am getting the wrong information and  am asking if that statment is correct.

Since marijuana does not meet the criteria for a schedule 1 drug, has anyone ever tried to challenge the law? To bring it up to the Supreme court? Because if someone could prove in a court case that marijuana does not meet the criteria of a schedule 1 drug, then the law would have to be over turned. Anyone ever heard about anything like this?

I don't trust politicians to change the scheduling of drugs, there should be a movement of people that want this done.

How come I haven't heard any movement trying to get marijuana rescheduled? Even though the ultimate goal is decriminalization, I think rescheduling is a step in the right direction.
