Here are some pics of my cake just before I harvested a few of the fruits. Does anyone know why the caps look like this? These are medicinal, non-psylocybin.

I'm guessing from what I've seen and read, it's bruising or lack of moisture.  BUT, ben that it was only *after* havesting that they looked like that, probably bruising.

You mean the little white specks?  I'm not too sure.  Some of them are supposed to the there, not sure why the other ones are there.  Be sure to wash them off before you dry them.

And yes, it's definitely decent.  Some very cool looking fruits.  Very goomba esque.  I like em. :smile:

nice work! thats a bad ass cluster. the white spots are good..  thats a sign that you have good humidity.. its just mycelium forming on the caps.. dont change ANYTHING!!! how was the trip?

That's a very solid flush from a cake.  Those white specks are just bits of mycelium from the initial pin stage I believe - they've been there the whole time right?

Looks like mycelium growing on the caps, which is quite common. On a few of my grows id have 4 spots of myc on each cap, looked pretty cool.

That is a very decent flush from a cake :-)

Should be a fun trip. I've never done cakes before but from what I've read on them that seems to be a good flush. Dunk n' roll baby, dunk n' roll.

Wow you should be in for a good time.  I tested my batch the other night and ate 17g wet.  It was nothing crazy, but it was still a nice little trip.  And what was awesome, was 6 hrs later I felt totally normal again.

What do you mean ratio?  The wet to dry conversion is around 10:1, so 41g should be about 4.1g dry.  As far as potency is concerned, you lose about 20-25% of the actives when drying.  So 41g wet would have the actives that about 5g dry would.

peopls's averages are all different.  i have a buddy that doesnt do anythinng less than 6 grams dry.  but a 4.1 gram trip is def going to be a good trip.  we probabally wont se him on here for a few hours.

Yea that's above average.  An eighth (3.5g) is considered a solid moderate dosage, with 1/2 an eighth being good for a 1st time, or just not so strong of a trip.
