to harvest or not to harvest? (pics)

about 3 days ago i birthed 7 cakes. two of them were pinning invitro. i let the pins go and now they are growing. i have a pod, and it?s set to initiate knots. (hi co2, low air flow) not mature mushrooms, which need much air flow. should i harvest these pins in order to strengthen the cakes for pinning? here are the pics. notice the spiky mycilium growth on the stems and caps.

If they continue to grow I would just leave them alone and harvest the ones that break the veil or are capped. Just harvest them before they drop spores. If the heads start to turn black pick them as they wont grow anymore and will just rot.

I am curious to see what they do in the desktop as I just ordered one on Monday. I have an advanced unit and I leave both the air and water pumps running 24/7 from birth through harvest with much success as you can see from my posting in the
