I switch between Claritin and the generic Allegra; considering you build up an immunity in about a year. I use one for about a year and then switch to the other for another year.

Allergy meds just make you more susceptible to allergies in the future.
Zicam works when the snot won't stop.

I've had a really rough bout with my allergies recently, and I've been taking a generic Zyrtec because it's cheaper, but it makes me really drowsy and I think it's giving me moods swings. I'm a pretty balanced person, and this stuff seems to fuck with me. I want my immune system to recover so I can stop taking this shit.

Generally, I go all herbal, taking stinging nettle, drinking immunity tea, eating lots of garlic and ginger, and sometimes I also take a Bromelain, Quercetin and Vitamin C compound, but I've become kind of immune to it. You have to cycle what you treat with, otherwise your body builds up a tolerance to the medicine and you become just as susceptible as you were to begin with.

Eating healthy, exercising, and all that jazz helps too.

My dad is a doctor, so drug reps are constantly giving him all kinds of free drugs. I pretty much got an unlimited supply of claratin little individual packets.

its catch 22

dont take hormones or cortesone or whatever it is for allergies and choke at night and get your growth stunted that way through lack of oxygen or take meds
also get rid of carpets and stuffed toys
