Odessa, TX police busted on camera performing illegal raid

Hello all, i believe that this is my first ever post here, I scanned your news forum and was surprised that no one else had posted this yet, so I guess I get the honor of spreading the word on this one.

Barry Cooper is one of the more controversial figures in the anti-prohibition movement, some feeling that he may not be on the level.  He earned points with many of his critics with his latest stunt, he purchased grow-lights and equipment and set it up over a pair of miniature Christmas trees.  Now there is nothing illegal about Christmas trees, or grow lights, (if they're being used to grow Christmas trees) but, according to the supreme court, there IS something illegal about IR surveillance technology being used by police, as per a pesky little piece of American antiquity called the fourth amendment.  IR tech or electric bills are the only way that the police could have known about the lights, one being illegal and the other not being sufficient evidence to get probable cause for a search warrant, so it is very likely that getting the warrant involved lies and duplicity on the part of the Odessa PD.

The best part?  He wired up the house with spy cameras, and streamed the entire incident directly to the internet.

That local story is probably the most you'll ever see from the MSM, and I haven't been able to connect to his website, probably too much traffic.

At the end of the video the newscaster says that the police are looking for any "laws [that] are broken" - I wonder if it's for the police or the dude who busted them.
