Some of them are very cult like. There is a huge Krishna "farm" just out side of town here, and these Krishnas are the very definition of a cult.

Anyway, the point is, they arent all the same. Maybe you're around some really cool ones, but all of them certainly arent.

Ive read the Bhagavad Gita cover to cover and they cook some good food but I dont agree with everything in there, just some things.
