For the record, FOR THE OUTDOOOR TEK i want everyone to know that buying a compost bag from home depot is possibly not the way to go. I used something that said "Organic Compost/Cow Manure, and the caked i through in there (with straw) never colonised. JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW

What i did now, was take some horse shit, and crumble the nuggets, then i put them in the oven until dry, (they were still a little damp), then i put it in a Pot with 1 crumbled cake and 2 whole cakes in it.
Is it okay that the shit wasn't completely dry? it is an outdoor tek...moe said fresh is good
MOE? what do you think?

Did you add any vermiculite to your compost? Not sure it matters, but my friend does about 50/50 and she is getting good results with a combo of scotts 3-in-1 and wheat straw in her outdoor patch. How long ago did you start the bed? Takes a good 2-3 weeks to get goodies from what I can tell. She now has 3 beds, all started at different times, and all showing first fruits in the 2-3 week range. Her newest bed has wet perlite on the bottom and her very first (teeny - preflush kind of goodies) babies came up yesterday - about 17 days after burying contam'd straw cakes in the bed. Good luck.

Try leaching the manure first . Did you use some hay or straw ?
Follow Moes tek , have not had results yet myself , but many have had success using his method , and it is simple .

i ahve had success just diggin a hole and throwing in an old cake or contaminated cake and some more damp horse shiz and then just keep it from drying completely. and BTW does anyone know a good way to keep slugs from eating them outdoors? like slug poison or soemthing that wont hurt anything but the evil SLUGZ

Put a bowl of beer out by your bed.  The slugs will smell it, try to eat it, and drown. :cool:

hmm, interesting...i like the outdoor methods

Well, for an update, i planted a few lipa yai caked in a pot with horse crap (mentioned above) a few days ago...and it turns out they are now ripping right through the top layer of the horse crap, so my question has been answered..sorry for being impatiant but try to understand that i tried moe's trashcan tek and it didn't work!!! oh well, i found this new method with horse crap to work perfectly, and i have an unlimited supply now yay...thanks!
