cocaine is still available in pharmacies and is used altofor ENT surgery. 200-300mg even i have been told, they have to give a benzo to calm patients. numbs and vasoconstricts

Just for clarification, it's Aspartame, which stands for Aspartate methyl ester.  Basically it's a methoxylated amino acid.  That's enough chemistry nerd for now!  :tongue2:



Hi I'm new here but would like to add that aspartame was also approved as a sweetener when none other than Donald Rumsfeld  :poop:  was the CEO of Searle. That is a wicked chemical.
Costco now carries Coca-Cola made with sugar from Mexico for anyone who is interested. Turns out that high fructose corn syrup which is in everything now especially soft drinks is metabolized by the liver as lipids. Basically the stuff turns to fat. I have yet to see a bottle of pop with fat listed in the ingredients. The Mexican Coke is made from Carbonated water, Sugar, Caramel color, phosphoric acid, natural flavors and caffeine. It tastes much better than the US made Coke. Not as sweet and tastes like the Coke when I was a kid. I have drank quite a bit and have not suffered Montezuma's revenge so I think it's safe.

^^^ were did you get that information. i am not a coke drinker but even i noticed that coke is different(better) in mex. and how can you tell if it forsurely mexican coke??

It comes in a 24 bottle case made in Mexico;)

I think the different taste is due to different acids they use in it. They cannot use the same acid for glass and plastic bottles. I think for plastic bottles they use fosforic acid, but I cannot remember the one for the glass bottle, which is much tastier.

the glass bottles in the picture that he posted 2 posts up says phosphoric, and my coke can says the same
