NEW Mind-Expanding Melodic Psychedelic Trance Mix! (60 Min.) Prepare for BLAST OFF!!!

#9273545 - 11/19/08 05:21 PM (17 years, 10 months ago)

This is a powerful, mind-expanding, melodic, 60 minute Psytrance mix (the previous mix I had posted was dark Psytrance, not melodic Psytrance). It consists of rich melodies layered over deep, powerful bass lines!

This mix is extremely psychedelic, and very beautiful, melodic, and rejuvenating. The songs in the mix have quotes speaking of how special each of us are, how magical the Universe is, how powerful our minds are, and how amazing nature is... etc!

This is a MUST-LISTEN-TO for all those psychonauts and mushroom-enthusiasts out there, as the mix has been inspired, rehearsed, and recorded by a fellow mycologist!

for those of you who like any kind of psychedelic music, whether it be jam music, electronica, chill out, dub, etc... prepare to get blown away, regardless of whether you are sober or not. Inspiring artists: Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Hallucinogen, Entheogenic, Ott, Tripswitch, Androcell, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, Astrix, and many, many more...

feedback is appreciated, so thanks for listening, and enjoy the ride!

---What Is Psytrance?---

Psytrance is a special type of electronic music, originating in Goa, India (Goa Trance), that is constructed using a bassline of 16 precisely spaced beats per measure, in contrast to most other genres of electronic dance music which consist of only 4 beats per measure. This vibrating, 16-beat Psytrance bassline, played at a speed of approximately145 beats-per-minute, creates an oscillating wave of bass, a wave of energy, identical to one of the four major frequencies of energy that are present in your brain. This frequency, referred to as the Alpha wave, is most prevalent during periods of high alertness and low anxiety. This means one's mind is able to synchronize with the familiar pattern present in Psytrance, resulting in significant mental stimulation, increased physical energy, and decreased stress. Simply by focusing on this powerful music, one instantaneously becomes motivated to dance, exercise, etc. with greater intensity, and a more positive mood! This makes for one of the most powerful dancing experiences one could ever imagine, providing an unbelievable amount of dance floor energy, and a positive, welcoming vibe from its followers, which allows Psytrance events to last several days, sometimes even more than a week at a time, through the rain or shine.
