I updated the whole new dashboard setting
and now you can load your games onto your hard drive
now how cool would that be, not having to insert a cd for a new game
i tried it with one i rented; Gears of War 2
You still need to insert the CD, how mega gay, you think there's gonna be a pirated way to download this "activation" signal on a blank CD so u can just rip rented games onto your 360 hard drive? could be kidna neat

Actually you still have to insert the DVD to get them to run, putting them on your HD allows the games to be run from your hardware limiting the strain on the DVD and the drive. However some games ie: Halo 3, are specifically designed to run from the disc and putting them on the HD will actually make the game play worse.

Microsoft just doesn't get it sometimes...

Actually, I'm assuming you don't play halo 3 bc if u did there was a big message after the update that installing halo 3 to your hard drive would significantly improve your connection with other players, and would help keep noise down alot, just FYI

I rock halo 3, that's pretty much all i do rock since i can't afford to go blowing 60 bucks on the next best new thing. Still love that game though, may just do that
