Gypsum
    #9292123 -

Im trying to do Coir/Verm/Lime/Gypsum/coffee bulk... but cant find gypsum.  The only gypsum i find is pellets with "Iron and Sulfer" in it.  Is it better to not use gypsum, grind up the pellets into powder gypsum; or just wait till i find it.

The gypsum pellets usually fall completely apart and dissolve when wet.  I'd use the gypsum with iron and sulfur.  Also, drywall scraps such as sheetrock can be mashed up to a powder and used.

Use plain, (not fire retardant), drywall. Grind it up, remove the paper, viola!, gypsum.

Evolution is Lamarckism in disguise.  Adaptation never creates a new species or trait, but rather the new species/trait always existed within the parent DNA until circumstances allowed it to be activated.  For instance, every wolf has the DNA for poodles, but that DNA would never be revealed without man selectively breeding for it.

Question: When using PoP,(Plaster of Paris), is it necessary to harden some first, then grind it up to use?

Free if you go to the right place. Just look for a bin in the driveway, and listen for the sound of men building stuff. Usually you'll get all the free used drywall [as well as wire, metal, wood, whatever] you can carry.

Dumping loads costs money, letting some guy drive away with it is free!

Plaster of paris is just gypsum that has been heated to remove the water content.  You do not need to harden it first.  Mix one cups worth at a time with about a cup of water, don't mix all at the start or it will harden on you by the end of your work.
